"Healing from autism
My daughter was born with severe autism. She was still unable to speak at the age of three and a half. I turned to Saint Jude for his help and went to Holy Communion for eighteen consecutive Saturdays in his honour, to obtain a healing of the autism. At the end of the eighteen weeks my daughter's condition became even worse. I was in a panic. I pulled myself back together and continued to pray to Saint Jude and to other saints for a healing. My daughter learnt to speak well and has made such astounding progress that people find it hard to believe when I tell them that she was born with autism.Saint Jude is the patron saint of hopeless cases. His feast day is celebrated on October 28.
(I am from Australia)
I have put my testimony in a free online book entitled: Help from Heaven (Answers to Prayer) which you can read at:

Luke 6: 1 - 5 1 On a sabbath, while he was going through the grainfields, his disciples plucked and ate some heads of grain, rubbing them in their hands. 2 But some of the Pharisees said, "Why are you doing what is not lawful to do on the sabbath?" 3 And Jesus answered, "Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him: 4 how he entered the house of God, and took and ate the bread of the Presence, which it is not lawful for any but the priests to eat, and also gave it to those with him?" 5 And he said to them, "The Son of man is lord of the sabbath."
REFLECTION: Grant, O Lord, that my heart may neither desire nor seek anything but what is necessary for the fulfillment of Your Holy Will. May health or sickness, riches or poverty, honors or contempt, humiliations, leave my soul in that state of perfect detachment to which I desire to attain for Your greater honor and Your greater glory. Amen
